Ottawa/Gatineau Jobs is a free, bilingual directory that brings together job postings from across the National Capital Region, on both sides of the Ottawa River, in one place.

Why this directory

Job postings in the region are scattered across the federal Job Bank, city websites, school boards, museums and non-profits, often in only one language. Looking for work in Ottawa and Gatineau means checking a dozen different sites.

We bring them together, with filters by city, work arrangement (on-site, hybrid, remote) and working language, so you can find the roles that fit you faster.

How it works

Our crawlers check public sources every day: official feeds, employer career portals and recruiting platforms that allow automated access. We follow their robots.txt rules, rate-limit our requests and identify ourselves clearly.

Only postings located in Ottawa, Gatineau and neighbouring communities (Kanata, Nepean, Orléans, Aylmer, Chelsea and so on) are kept. Postings that expire or are removed at the source disappear from the directory automatically.

What we don't do

We are neither an employer nor a staffing agency. We never receive applications and never charge job seekers: every posting links to its original site, where you apply.

We do not add sources whose terms of service prohibit automated collection.

How we're funded

The directory is free for job seekers and employers alike. It may be funded by advertising on some pages, always clearly separate from job postings.
